Look Of The Week @ Stable

November 18, 2011

While scanning Stockholm Street Style, we came across one Swede looking like a total babe in this outfit on the left. Then, we realised that some of the Filly’s have been rocking a similar look. Here is how another Scandi arrived at work today on the right: in the Queen L skirt Stanwyck skirt-$289-, Green Pony singlet $59, and Honor Among Thieves blazer -$459-  clutching onto a Sous Les Paves bag -$289- with Opening Ceremony ankle boots and Alexander Wang sunnies (available at Le Hoof). Left or right? Your choice.

Oh and, YES – Green Pony Basics are HERE! We have finally found THE perfect tee and singlet shapes. Soft cottons that you can literally live in. Green Pony Basics have kinda changed our lives this past week…!

You know how we introduced our new favourite “Feline” jean cut in a previous Look Of The Week? Well, here is Alexa Chung hanging in the same style. Thank you Alexa for solidifying we are on to a good thing at Stable.

*** Apologies also go to L Mendez, who we thought was a little crazy for first rocking this look. You nailed it.

Without realising it, this Look Of The Week is kind of a homage to American fashion (don’t gasp – not bumbags, sneakers and oversize chino’s, simply American labels). Introducing our new favourite jean shape: The Feline. These Citizen’s Of Humanity jeans -$445- are the perfect summer cut. Cropped just above the ankle, and kicked out (note lack of the term Flare) just the right amount, the Feline is bound to turn heads. Styled with a New York tee -$159- and Opening Ceremony heels -$490- the American outfit is complete.
